Iscove’s Modified Dulbecco’s Medium (IMDM) is an enhanced version of Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle’s Medium (DMEM), enriched with selenium, additional amino acids and vitamins, sodium pyruvate, HEPES buffer, and potassium nitrate in place of ferric nitrate. IMDM is specifically designed to support the growth and proliferation of murine B lymphocytes, hematopoietic cells from bone marrow, lipopolysaccharide-stimulated B cells, T lymphocytes, and various hybrid cell lines. The formulation includes L-glutamine and 25 mM HEPES and is sodium bicarbonate free.

Signs of Deterioration:
Medium should be clear and free of particulate and flocculent material.  Do not use if medium is cloudy or contains precipitate.  Other evidence of deterioration may include colour change or degradation of physical or performance characteristics.

The product is intended to be used in vitro for research or further manufacturing only and not for use as an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient or food or animal feed.
